Jordi Net is recognized as an expert (SME) in biodecontamination and aseptic processing, with solid experience in the implementation of technical and digital solutions for pharmaceutical and advanced therapy (ATMP) companies, driving their transition and consolidation towards Industry 4.0 environments. He is currently preparing himself for the integration of artificial intelligence technologies as a foundation for the evolution towards Industry 5.0.
Degree in Biochemistry from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) (1985–1990) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from ESADE (1995–1998).
He has over 30 years of international experience in business development and project management, as well as in marketing and sales of capital equipment and services for the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries.
He specializes in critical technologies for GMP environments (Annex 1), including barrier systems (isolators, RABS, SAS, among others), steam sterilization, dry heat depyrogenation, and biodecontamination using vaporized hydrogen peroxide (VH₂O₂).
He also has solid expertise in biosafety, lyophilization technologies, aseptic filling processes, containment systems, water treatment, WFI production by distillation, and pure steam generation.
Currently focused on his entrepreneurial project, in 2016 he founded Netsteril, S.L. (www.netsteril.com), a company specialized in the distribution and representation of manufacturers of high-quality equipment and solutions for the pharmaceutical industry in Spain. In recent years, the company has evolved towards an integrated solutions model, expanding its portfolio of products and services to offer 360º solutions.
