VH2O2 Biodecontamination Chambers and Airlocks

A Material Airlock (MAL) or pass-box are chambers designed to provide a physical barrier between zones; for example, from class C/B to a class B/A. To minimize contamination risk that poses the bioburden present on the surface of materials, they are equipped with Vaporized hydrogen peroxide (VH2O2) systems to carry out automated biodecontamination cycles.
These Kirhtech-Netsteril equipment can have one or, if required, two chambers: one above for the entry of materials into the aseptic area with VH2O2 decontamination cycles and the other below for the removal of waste materials with UV disinfection. In case the unit has only one chamber, it can have both systems.
